In 2023, Scissor Sisters Women Only quietly came to life in the heart of Birmingham, UK. What began as a small gathering in a hotel room – a few people sharing dialogue, exchanging glances, intrigue, and energy – ignited something far greater. It was intimate, safe, and unapologetically sapphic, a refuge where Lesbian, Bisexual, Bi-curious women and Non-Binary females could truly exhale and be themselves.

There was no grand spectacle – word spread, softly at first, carrying the warmth of those early evenings to others seeking a place like this. Friendships formed, laughter lingered, and a community began to bloom.

As word spread, so did the desire to stay connected. Soon, a chat group was created, offering a digital space where members could share experiences, ask questions, and offer support. It was an extension of the warmth felt in person, where everyone could continue their conversations and form meaningful bonds.
